Christine Meredith, VMD
Raised near Scranton, Dr. Christine Meredith is a Pennsylvania native who attended the University of Scranton and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. From these schools, she has earned a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in psychology and was the proud recipient of the Lynn M. Sammons award, respectively.
Dr. Meredith has owned and worked for groundbreaking and award-winning practices alike. She has participated in clinical development trials and built successful practices from the ground up. Dr. Meredith had spent years providing long and short-term relief services and practice management guidance for Companion Animal practitioners in Pennsylvania. For the last seven years, she has been the chief medical officer of Affinity Veterinary Center of Malvern, the 2019 Best of the Main Line Veterinary practice award winner.
She brings with her 20 years of firsthand clinical and real-life expertise and experience in managing senior cats and dogs. She also guides owners through at home care and difficult decisions with compassion and grace.
Leia Paul, DVM
Dr. Leia Paul has been in small animal practice since her graduation from Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Her husband’s career path has taken her to many places—from Atlanta to Wisconsin to Maryland and finally to Delaware, where she has lived since 2007. She is very excited to join the New London team!
Dr. Paul grew up in southern Indiana and did her undergraduate studies at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. She always knew she wanted to be a vet and enjoys the challenges and diversity that the profession offers. She loves the detective work of difficult medical cases, the artistic aspects of soft tissue surgery, and the relationships she forms with her clients and their furry children.
Dr. Paul and her husband live in North Wilmington with their two children, their three toy poodles, and their two cats. In her free time, Dr. Paul enjoys read and tending her many plants, especially her orchids!
